I think I did but waaay back and of course can't find it now - this came from a hi-def master supplied by the licensor.

Thanks, Almar.

I read through hundreds of posts before asking you this question. For future titles, could you please include this info in the release specs? Whether it's from an HD master, the original neg or some other source print.

I know what you mean about loose discs.I ordered the 30th anniverary edition of Maniac on DVD and the bonus disc was loose and rattling about inside the case when it arrived.Luckily there's just some minor scuff marks on it and it seems to play normally, but I hate that dreaded rattling sound.

The Arrow transfer looks very similar to the WMV-HD "bonus" disc that Medusa included with their limited DVD a couple years ago (2006 or so, I think). I'm guessing the Arrow BD was made from the same HD master?

The Export version was (from the looks of it) recreated by removing certain scenes from the same source materials. No idea what the English credits on Disc 2 were sourced from.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but there are now reviews of the Blue Underground Blu-ray of "Deep Red" at DVDDrive-in and DVDBeaver (I cannot post links yet).
