Default Savage Streets - DVD comparison

Ok, so on the specs for the Arrow release, it boasts a 'brand new transfer' of the film.

Is this a fresh print for the Arrow release, or the print that appeared on the BCI and Scandinavian print?

It seems Code Red may be re-releasing this in the US sometime soon, so I may just wait for that one.

It was never known for being ultra violent, it gained it's reputation for the violent rape of Heather, and for Brenda's use of a crossbow. These two elements saw the BBFC throw a complete wobbly and censor it to high heaven.

From my experience, people who turn round and say 'oh my god mate you gotta see this film right, it's proper violent and it's proper messed up' etc..........usually haven't seen the film.....

How many people have you been talking about Texas Chainsaw Massacre with that are totally adament that it's a true story...it tickles me every time

This is a new encoding from the dgigibeta, so is a brand new print.

This isn't the same transfer that BCI created?
