"Black Frankenstein" is one of the most abysmal films I've ever seen. It took me days to view it completely, forcing myself to watch it in 10 minute blocks. I'm well up for the others.

I have to admit I was hugely disappointed with ABBY when I finally caught up with it on a rather dodgy looking US dvd.

Maybe you were expecting too much or the bad pic quality was to blame?
I mean it's no Exorcist (even though AIP got sued) but still fun imho.

Btw one fan stated this on Imdb:
"If a new DVD is ever released, there was some Greek, Hindi, and an African language spoken by the demon and the priest, and it would be interesting to get some optional subtitles for those scenes. The text of the lawsuit against the movie would also be interesting."

I'm gonna stretch the Blaxploitation thing here by including Ganja & Hess, one of the great masterworks of Black Underground Cinema. The US DVD is well out of print so it would be great to have it out there again... I wrote about the film here...
