Mine arrived today too Can't fault HMV, amazing service as usual.

Quite liking the new catalogue, although since this is my first Arrow release this year, it's possibly not even a new catalogue . I was wondering how they'd manage to fit the catalogue into the new Dual Format releases, and clearly the catalogue has been on a diet.

I watched this last night. It's a really good print, hard to believe the film was made in the late 70s early 80s. When it zooms into the matchbox the picture is so sharp you can read all the text. It's still one of the better Video Nasties in my opinion, but like a lot of them these days, it's not as hard hitting as it once was.

I was saying this earlier on Facebook. I thought it was pretty tame. I wouldn't have even given it an 18. A bit of nudity and a couple of people getting set on fire. Big whoop!

My copy arrived this morning from HMV. Hoping to watch it tomorrow if the weather's not lovely.

I agree. Specific DVD and/or BR output is fine by me and if a particular release shows up on both formats i'll buy both editions to bolster both my SD/HD collections. It's as simple as that. If a certain movie is a DVD-only release then so be it and likewise for BR titles. I'm just grateful for what i get.

Undeniably so and my copies arrived yesterday. Something good to come back to after a flexi early finish from work and subsequent aimless walking around.

Yep and that's why most, if not all of my Shameless and Arrow pre-orders are placed with the above retailer. The prices are right and the delivery nice 'n' timely.

I mean what's not to like about £5.99 for selected Arrowdrome DVDs and £3.99 for DGITH? Incredibly pocket-friendly imo.
mark meakin likes this.

Too right mate.
Nothing you can't see on Sauchiehall Street at closing time on a Saturday night!

I'd give this release a PG myself.......just for that flipside artwork!

I DO however like the Arrowdrome side since it shows old flameythrower, son, coincidentially,of Percy Thrower.

Can someone who's already got and watched this new DVD confirm it's a widescreen release? I'm pretty sure it will be, just after the confirmation. Thanks.
