Cancellations and deletions don't bother me. I ordered Martin @£9.99 then it was deleted and showed up again @£11.99. I contacted customer service and transferred the order to the new one at the original price. Pre-order price guarantee means just that.

You didn't need to cancel the order as they wouldn't have sent out a duff DVD as they would never be sent out to retailers, hence why the release date has been pushed back a bit. If you already have an order, keep it as a low price will probably be honoured when the problem is ironed out and the DVDs are there to be sent out.

It was pre-ordered through HMV and my order status said that it had been deleted and they were going to try and get it another way Then when I searched for it on the website the DVD which was originally advertised was gone and a new version put in its place.

That's a bit strange. I don't know why they didn't just replace the one item with the other and saved all the trouble they caused customers of having to cancel and reorder.

Amazon.co.uk did the same thing.

I believe this different Martin cover is that of Arrow's original fullframe release from years ago. I still have this version but i'm puzzled too as to why HMV have used this DVD's sleeve image to illustrate the new and improved double disc set.

Oh, so it's only been pushed back a week. That's not too bad. It is a terrific package with the four different covers, poster, booklet and art cards -- and that's not even mentioning the brilliant movie (available in 16:9 and 4:3) and the option to see the Italian cut which is slightly different and has a completely different score by Goblin.

You watched it yet? Just wondered what the issue is exactly with the 4:3 version.
