My game this morning too -- it is a terrific package and I look forward to watching the 4:3 version with correct sound this time!

my order from Amazon UK hasn't even gone into "shipping soon" status. At least I got Macabre on Saturday to tide me over!

Well that was a fascinating take on the vampire myth. Will probably check out Vampyr sometime over the week.

Do you mean Vampyr, the 1935 masterpiece by Carl Th. Dreyer or Wampyre, the Italian cut of Martin? Either way, it'll be time well spent!

Yeah the Italian Cut. Not seen Dreyer's film but Masters of Cinema have what is supposed to be an excellent DVD edition of it.

They do -- the picture will never look 100% that what they have done is extraordinary and the extra features are all really good, especially the commentary by Guillermo del Toro. If you don't own it, it's one to add to your wish list.
