To be fair to Arrow, all they did was announce a forthcoming steelbook release via Facebook and we all hyped it up through speculation on this forum.

Well people expected something a bit more in line with what Arrow usually release. Only recently have they started releasing different genres other then Horror. So the first steelbook from Arrow and not Arrow Films would been a horror in most peoples eyes. |

To be fair, their 3rd bluray release was Caligula and not shortly after did they start releasing films like Jaguar Lives and Deadly Outlaw Rekka so it's not fair to say that the Arrow Video subsidiary should be seen as horror-only, although I kinda get what you're saying. To be honest, with hindsight and all it was an incredibly guessable release really. What would Arrow Video release as their first steelbook to ensure it's a success? The only film, to my knowledge, that Arrow Films have released as a dvd steelbook of course! |

I mean seeing as its Arrow's first Steelbook not Arrow Video...it should been a horror title. |

It's not their first steelbook though. Arrow released the same film as a dvd steelbook as past of their standard Arrow Films range. This is the first time Arrow Video have released a steelbook though.

I do agree with you very much nekromantik. This is a disappointing choice of film for me. I would have liked a horror release also.

I am made up with it. It's an important modern film from one of the most interesting American directors of the last few of decades. An ideal choice, in my eyes.

I have to agree. I don't see an issue with it at all personally. Blew me away when I first saw it.
