The poster wasn't announced at all initially, that came on later down the line. Still though, I'm sure many ordered expecting to receive one.

It was announced when I ordered it, so it's part of the package I paid for.

Ah ok. I guess it really depends on whether there was a time that the poster was announced to be coming with that edition. If thats the case than yes, its on Arrow to rectify it especially if people ordered with the intent purpose of recieveing the poster.

If it was just assumed and never stated that there would be a poster included than I can understand the response from them.

I know it all seems like semantics but I just got out of my business law class so my brain is still on the facts..lol

Then you definitely have a right to be upset. Never let yourself be fooled into thinking you should be lucky enough just to have the film. It was part of the package you were sold and you should definitely recieve it or at lease have some sort of goodwill gesture made towards you.

Yes people can order other editions but if people pre-ordered and in some cases have already paid for the product than its a problem that Arrow needs to look into.

Maybe a daft question, but is anyone or was anyone actually intending on doing anything with the poster, I know for a fact that both my copies will stay in the cases, like all the others in my Arrow DVD/BD'S.

My other Arrow posters are framed and on walls, thats what I usually do with the posters. If I like both sides I can be persuaded to buy two copies if its a double-sided poster with different art on each side.

Not a daft question at all actually.

Anyone who ordered from Arrow's website had shipping notice yet?

It's not a perfect situation, but Arrow has at least given advance notice so that people can opt out of the standard blu and get the steelbook or the dvd, if the poster matters that much. They can and need to go further to make this right, but they have done the bare minimum - they have given their customer relevant information to make an informed choice whether or not to purchase the standard blu.

But I certainly don't agree that the poster should be given as a freebie indiscriminately.

Not yet, I'm expecting an email maybe tomorrow or Thursday. I have noticed that Arrow haven't posted any photo's of the LE on Facebook, this could mean that either they're leaving it to be a surprise or they haven't received them yet

Is there a price differential between the other versions and the standard blu? Will Arrow automatically switch the standard blu orders to the other version without extra cost?

I guess those are probably the most pressing questions on people who have pre-ordered the standard blu.
