Hey, had NO IDEA where to put this or ask, so stuck it here (possibly sorry)

I have the 4 disc dvd edition with the film running 167mins.

On the blu ray front..why is it a 1 disc edition with the cut film that runs at only 118mins??? Slightly confused to say the least. Would love to upgrade this to Blu ray.

The answer is pretty simple: The HD transfer for the BD was made from the theatrical cut, the director's cut seems to be DVD only at the moment and I doubt that this will change, but who am I to tell? So if you want the theatrical cut in HD, get the BD and keep the 4DVD set, if you do not need the HD transfer, stick to the 4DVD set...

right, ok, thanks for the info. Shame really, the 4disc set is massive and sticks out from the others, would of liked a small case.....but thats just me being way too picky! I shall keep my dvd then.
