Whats your views on Wrestlers who use steriods to help obtain their ideal 'look'.?

I read somewhere that 20 plus Wrestlers have died under 50 in the last 3 years or so, the youngest being 29 (Louie Spicolli) Please forgive spelling.
And these are big names , not Backyard Wrestlers , Bam Bam Bigalow, Big Bossman and Davey Smith to name a few.

I'd agree with this, especially lately given the explosion in nonsense health advice.

As you say, experimenting through trial and error is in the end the best way. It does take a very long time however! A few years back I cut out a lot of foods which could have been causing me problems. Then later I reintroduced them slowly to see what would happen. I managed to find my limit for some things (a certain amount of cheese makes me tired ) and found that other things seemed to make me feel better (more energy for example).

The surprising part is that I didn't miss those things (cheese for example) as much as I thought I would! It really does seem to be all chemical: if you cut something out you end up no longer wanting/needing it; the chemical deficiency for it just isn't there any more.

On the diet vs. exercise issue, my take is this: if your diet is bad or you drink too much, no amount of exercise is going to combat this effectively, and if you stop then you'll put it all back on rapidly. I lost fat consistently (but very slowly) over the course of ~12 months by cutting out all bad stuff and eating lots of good food. I've also lost fat more rapidly by running a lot. Like you say it's all about finding the right balance for you as an individual.

I've experimented with going right down to 68kg and now up to 80kg and have now got a pretty good idea of what works for me.
