I'm a huge F. Paul Wilson fan (although I never could get into THE KEEP no matter how many times I tried to read it). Recently bought a copy of THE TOUCH again, so I'm looking forward to re-reading that one for the first time in 15 years or so.

Picked this up for a quid in Shaws Trust today.

Has anyone read it? I like Jim Herbert but this one doesn't seem to have a great rep.

I've read it. Once you get past the first 150 pages it picks up. It's not really classic Herbert though.

The first 100 pages is just a journey by air to the house.

Mm, thats interesting. I downloaded a sample to Kindle a few years back when it came out, i hadn't read Herbert before at all and i quite enjoyed what i read, which was about the first 30 pages.

I really enjoyed Once. That divides opinion. It's like a porno fairy tale.
