Legend Horror Classics was a bit of a strange one. I never really decided whether I liked it or not. Still, not bad for 25p!

How about some Monster Mag, Vic? More memories of my debauched childhood

I think that was the last issue of the original MM. It then had three issues of 'Vol 2' edited by Dez Skinn, who then went on to do the wonderful House Of Hammer.

I was only about 10 or so when MM was out and despite it being full of gory photos and having 'For Sale To Adults Only' on the cover, our local newsagent always happily sold it to me without even bothering to give a shit

to be honest most newsagents in the 70s were like something from SOHO,(in my childlike eyes)nicotine stained fingers handing over grubby mags,(think the shop in Peeping Tom) they all smoked roll ups and wore stained grubby cardigans (I may of just dreamt this part)

Nice one, thats one of the other two i own Vic.

This is the other. Some of the bloody pics in this one disturbed me for years. The poster with Cushing holding the artery in his teeth still makes me shudder.
