I was there this morning and there were only two BW trilogy tins left.

I was going to invest in another copy until i saw both items looked a little the worse for wear with what appeared to be a few scratches here and there.

I'll just wait until newer stock arrives in store before buying a third copy.

The Newcastle city centre branch suprisingly had no BW trilogy tins on the shelves and that must be the first time this has happened since the item was released. Prior to today there's always been copies available whenever i've visited but not earlier this morning.

Of course, there's always the Sunderland HMV but that's a bit out of the way for me.

Did you speak to any of the guys at the Metro shop, he said they had plenty in stock so they could be in the back store room shelf filling as they go down?

My heart does go out to those Italian exploitation fans both here and overseas who still wait for a copy of the BW trilogy tin to come their way.

It's high time the HMV website got it's act together and delivered the goods to those Shameless supporters who have pre-ordered this title and remain patient in the face of disappointment.

Also, i hope those schlock movie devotees who have simply struggled to find a means of obtaining the BW trilogy tin have a change of luck sooner rather than later.

No, i didn't as i assumed what was on the shelf was all the stock the store had for sale.

I'd like to think you're right, though because when the BW trilogy tin first came out this particular HMV outlet had about ten or so copies available.

Maybe mate. I know Newcastle have them on order and they expect them in Mon - Wed next week. I went there 1st and they had None but had just ordered them the previous day, I had to phone Metrocentre from Newcastle to see if they had any and drove from Newcastle straight the Metrocentre.

I'll be visiting both branches next week regular as clockwork as per my usual Saturday morning shopping ritual.

Hopefully there'll be some new copies adorning the shelves in both stores.

District 13:Ultimatum on DVD and The Warriors on Blu-Ray both from Gateshead's HMV.

Like i said, i did intend to buy a third BW trilogy tin as it's just such a cool purchase. But the two copies on display simply failed to make the grade for me where condition was concerned so i left them alone and will try again next week.

The items i saw on sale looked like they'd been handled about the stock room a few times with some apparent scratches and holes in the shrinkwrapping.

I'm not the only one who wouldn't approve of such product imperfections. Just ask StevoJ!

Haha I was told that the scratches all add to the charm of the set and after seeing a couple of the tins in HMV Glasgow that looked as though some angry customers had taken their fists to them,I can live with the scratches......just!
