Picked mine up the end of December from Fopp (now affiliated to HMV), so worth trying around there, have to add got the 8 disc Jess Franco set for a tenner from there too.

I love it when folk give you cash for your birthday!

Competition

No doubt the head honchos at Shameless HQ will only be too happy with a customer buying several copies of the stunning steel product in question as one more sale just increases the possibility of doing another tin release of some kind or another in the future.

I'm so impressed with the BW trilogy tin i'm even considering investing in a third copy as i'm sure this trio of titles packaged in this way will prove very collectable if it hasn't already.

I decided I was gonna buy the set this evening. HMV.com still haven't got it though.

Gonna look for it in the two HMVs in Plymouth when I'm back there. Chances are they won't have it there (they've not been that good movie wise from what I've seen).

At least the Plymouth HMVs seem to have more there than the Exeter one since it moved to the Princesshay area.

EDIT: just realised trying Fopp in Exeter might be worth it. They can be pretty decent sometimes

HMV Cardiff are now under the impression that this release 'did not happen'!

When you said that it definitely had been released, did they all put their fingers in their ears and say 'la la la I can't hear you'?

Pretty much, said the supplier must have pusponed or pushed back the release; even though I mentioned it has been available in others tores across the UK.

They said they've been waiting on 22 since they ordered them in November.

Just so everyone knows I have sent through a torrent of e-mails over the weekend begging for some information - it's madness and very frustrating and I can only apologise for the lack of info.

Yeah, you really need to break into (not literally!) the main supermarkets.
