You have no idea how hard it is to sell stuff that was recently released in cinemas into the supermarkets, let alone post apocalyptic science fiction films from Italy that are almost 30 years old! It's a very frustrating, uphill struggle to get anything besides the biggest blockbusters into supermarkets and even when companies do succeed in getting them in, they're forced to bend over and take one when it comes down to unit price.

This sort of product is best suited to specialist retailers and online businesses such as HMV, Play, Amazon, Movie Mail and the like. Specialist retailers usually know how to position these titles best in store and online in order to maximise sales too.

Very true.Tesco and Asda only get a fraction of the dvds/blu-rays that are released every week.Half the time even the latest blockbusters aren't stocked.

I hope they make it to Amazon.co.uk soon, I want one of these sets but HMV have never had it in stock on their website as far as I can tell. Amazon is cheaper for us in Australia as the VAT is removed, the shipping is cheaper and the unit price is generally cheaper!
