Ah that's a real shame but, as others have said, perfectly understandable from Shameless' point of view. Can't say I'm not upset but at the end of the day it's the film that matters.

I'm sure a few members on here who voted they would buy it (including me!) would be willing to pre-order it now and also pay for it now, so that Shameless are secured a sale, making it less of a risk.
That way, Shameless don't spend a fortune producing too many copies, the Cult-Labbers are happy because they can pick up a Limited Edition (which would be be even more exclusive now) and we can show those high street shops they are not the be all and end all
Steelbooks have a minimum order of 4000 units, so a 100 would not happen.

I didn't know that, but I suppose the number has to be high in order to justify the cost of running the machinery. Are you what the press would call 'an industry insider'?!

That would be interesting to know.

However, I never was a Steelbook lover and I'll never be one - hate those things rusting all the time.

Greetings!

Not if there needs to be at least 4000 units made. Unfortunate, I know, as that's a good idea.
