Most people own vast majorities of the nasties uncut now

She was a pain in the arse. She even wanted to ban Tom and Jerry for being too violent.
A thorn in the side of Mary Millington, Mary named her adult sex mag 'Whitehouse' after her.

The most interesting thing about Mary Whitehouse in this age of click and download is why people are even bothering to talk about her. Give it up, she's dead and the world moves on!

Your right I did try to reanimate her but it went a bit pete tong luckily a government agency covered the whole thing up and blamed ISIS for the atrocity...phew another scrape with hilarious consequences averted.

Going by your question, why are we still bothering to talk about video nasties or the fact that films like 'Clockwork Orange', 'Texas Chainsaw' and 'The Exorcist' were unavailable on VHS for a period?

Like it or not, Mary existed, and she is a part of our world and culture.

The youngsters amongst us need to be educated, just in case someone similar is waiting in the wings to rise again. Mock if you want to, but remember - as well as her, my living memory includes Trevelyan, Murphy and Ferman

The only person that seem to be a pain in the ass just now is Katie Hopkins but doubt she will be a campaigner

Hey leave MTDS alone. He's in training for next years Britain's Got Talent.

See, here's a condom he turned into a frisbee in order to clear the frozen food isle for his distance flicking.

Mine too, we are the same age but when the discussion turns into talk of Whitehouse as a swinger it is time to end it. Plus wasn't the opening question something like what would she make of Shameless covers. It is s tired and over done subject and more of a nostalgic cluster f*ck for most.

I am all for discussing the past and the wider cultural issues of censorship bit more often than not the culture in which the whole nasties saga evolved is forgotten.
