Noticed some interesting Noir Blu's.
Out of the past im very interested in as the dvd is pretty poor so hopefully this will be a major improvement.I saw Out of The past at Arts cinema a few years ago so I know it can look good.

I have the releases of The Lady from Shanghai and Laura - both are decent quality wise. The Lady from Shanghai can be picked up for cheap too what with it having been released by Mill Creek. I aim to get those other two eventually along with a few other Noir titles I've been eyeing up.

If you're region free then Olive Films have released some interesting Noir titles on Blu.

Out of the Past is one of my top ten noirs.

Is In a Lonely Place available on BD? That's in my top three.

Out Of The Past is a brilliant film,Im sure when I saw it at the cinema a few years back they showed it with its uk title Build My Gallows High, but I may of dreamt that. The only version of In A Lonely Place I can see is the Columbia Classics dvd release but im sure given time it will come out, although id luv to see a Blu of The Big Sleep.

Have you got this set?

Hammer Film Noir Collector's Set 1-3 DVD 1952 Region 1 US Import NTSC: Amazon.co.uk: DVD & Blu-ray

Well worth a blind buy if not. Each a cracking film.
