There were people (including myself) who asked about this possibility, and we were told that an 'HD master is just not available to Shameless (if there is one at all)'. Which pretty much puts the kibosh on that possibility, and why the discussion didn't spread as much as it has here.

I'm also another who is holding out for a Blu-ray release from an english language territory. I'm guessing no other company in the UK will be able to put out a copy of this film on Blu-ray while Shameless have the rights? It's a shame they're unable to scrape together the funds, as there seem to be quite a lot of US fans also waiting for an English language territory release. I'm sure it could have been quite the earner for them, had things not turned out the way they had.

It's a great film, and I'm sure Shameless will put together a great DVD release for those who haven't yet been acquainted with this gem, or are happy to double-dip.

Judging from what has been said about Shameless' financial situation, I'm guessing now is the time to stop holding off importing Torso on Blu, and pre-order Night Train Murders, as they don't appear all that likely anymore?

Haha it'd be pulled from the shelves and Shameless would be done for obscenity.

Of course, I'd do a fact track if they paid me

I doubt they'd expect you to do it for free. I'll pass your name and interest (plus expertise and recommendations) on.

Someone else should do it, I may know a bit about the actors and stuff they've been in, but I know sod all about Dylan Dog or the person who created it.

Yeah, but i'd end up writing something like 'Rupert Everett is a **** and this is the only decent thing he has ever been in'

I imagine there would be guidelines! He probably had a blast making the film and it would have been even more fun if he wasn't gay!

Am I missing something? What has Rupert Everett being gay got to do with it?

I think he means that he'd enjoy it more if he wasn't gay because he get's to be naked with Anna Falchi
