Yup - no bloodbath this one - it's a wonderful nightmare of the senses - if anyone is planning to watch it, switch off those lights, turn off the phone and lose yourself in the film.

With a film that is rated as 12, i dont think anyone will be expecting a blood bath.

They might expect it though if they've just picked up NYR or Night Train Murders etc

Only a silly person expects a 12 rated film to be a bloodbath!

But they might not read the fine print on the DVD - still has an 18 cert on it - we're all well-informed on here - there will be people picking it up who don't know a thing about it. Mind you the synopsis etc doesn't lead you to believe you're getting a bloodbath - spacebath maybe.

Smaller than this:

Overall catergory raised to 18 due to addional material classified higher than main feature 12

I dont mind it not being a bloodbath. If a film is very atmospheric it doesnt need blood and guts. I may be in the minority but i think City of the Living Dead would be just as effective with out it.

It's my favourite Fulci exactly for that crushing atmospheric sense of dread.

I got the remastered AWE dvd and watched it the other night with the sound turned right up and it was even more terrifying. Definiteley the scariest zombie movie ever.
