Just looking at the artwork it makes me wonder if someone at a distribution level has taken offence at the cover art which depicts a nasty looking character brandishing a bloody razor and a dead girl with a slashed neck. Also the victim has her dead eyes open That is probably a no no.

It really wouldn't surprise me if HMV for example refused to put it on shelves.

Mine arrived today. I had no idea these were individually numbered. I wonder how many there are. #1328 is mine.

I wonder if the issue is related to the mac. Perhaps there's some sort of marking it should have on it. A CE marking perhaps, or some kind of regulation approval marking.

I did think it might be this too, prior to mine arriving, but it has a suffocation warning label on both the mac and the DVD.

I watched Formula last night as I've been looking forward to viewing it for years. I can't see any issues with the disc itself, the transfer is a little dark in places but that might be the photography at the time or the master used.

Watched mine last night and as others have said, it's a beautiful print. Really good Giallo to boot.

I'm intrigued as to what this 'glitch' is too.

I wonder can the problem be that the theatrical trailer is not included? As my copy only has the "Shameless Slashers" trailers.
