I never played TLOU on last gen as I had shifted to 360 before it came out so im looking forward to this.
The Last Of Us is the best game I have ever played, it ticks all boxes, feeling for the characters (a rare thing these days) gorgeous scenery, decent length, scare the shit out of you moments, violent, a nice mix of killing 'orrible humans and then mutants and also a longing at the end for a follow up. The story knocks hollywood scripts out of the park, but thats not too difficult these days 'spose?
I never buy a game twice but might pick up this new version.....when it drops!

These days i nearly only buy open world games, the linear format has become a little stale for me. But The Last of Us is an exception, the best game i have ever played. Everything about it is perfect.

Totally agree J, doesnt matter to me if a game is drooled over as something excellent, if its linear, I get bored real quick, call of duties lost me a while back, as good looking as they are. If its open world I usually give it a chance. Dragons age has been brilliant so far and have had Far Cry 4 to dabble with as soon as I can get the t.v off Mrs PF. as I know I am going to need a few hours get into it. Makes you wonder why a Dragons world size world can not be thrown at Star Wars / Star Trek or even a Dr Who story, now that could be special. I am looking forwward to Star Wars Battlefront PS4, lets hope they do it justice.

Decided to treat myself to a game for the Xbox, for the first time in months due to work and Uni commitments meaning I rarely get time for any gaming.

Had a few hours playing it today and can honestly say it's one of the best games I've played in years

Treated myself to another game today, had a few spare minutes before picking my boys up from school, so I popped into Game and bought this. Should've been £19.99, same price as the standard edition, but due to my reward points, I got it for £16.99.
Just gotta wait till they're in bed so I can play it
