Pre-order via amazon!

Hey peeps, was just wondering if all pre-orders have the price guarantee?

On some blu-ray preorders you have price guarantee stated and on most others you don't have nothing.

I'm looking at getting Madman, Video frome and a few others but there expensive at the moment but if the price goes down then I assume you get the lowest price.

Thanks

Dan

As far as I'm aware, the Amazon pre-order price guarantee still stands, so you are charged the lowest price.

I'm not 100% sure, so it's probably worth checking on the website.

I picked up Night of the Comet and I Am Divine from HMV yesterday, see the Divine Doc already which is ace and it was down to £4.99. I've never seen Night of the Comet but it's previously been in store at £20 but was down to £11 so picked it up and it looks like my kind of film so I'm surprised I've never seen it before! :woot:

I keep picking this up in HMV but I've not seen this particular series of Holmes before, how is it? I'm a HUGE fan of the Basil Rathbone ones.

For me and many others Its the best adaptation of Holmes and Brett is just amazing the best portrayal of Holmes.

I'd certainly recommend both if you're a fan of the trashier spectrum of '70s Euro-horror.

Candle can be picked up fairly cheaply from Amazon & HMV (currently it's £8.99) whilst Crypt is a limited edition Vinegar Syndrome exclusive, and yes they do ship to the UK and are customs friendly too. It also comes with a bonus film called House of the Living Dead which is also a fun schlocky time.

Just acquired the new Fawlty Towers dvd set for "moonlighting" at another charity shop.

Should I just start a thread entitled "Stuff That I've Been Given"???

Justin101 1st July 2015 01:54 PM

I just pre-ordered the Stray Cat Rock set from Amazon since the UK set is going for a fair bit these days!

I've been annoyed I missed the UK box set ever since it came out!

I've not season Pompeii or Season of the Witch yet. I really enjoyed Malificent and Robin Hood was decent enough, definitely worth the £1.50 i paid for it.

Justin101 2nd July 2015 08:51 AM

A lot of people are really down on that version of Robin Hood but I loved it and I wish they expanded upon the franchise. I love Maleficent as well, but I'm afraid to say I've only heard bad things about the other 2 - I would watch Season of the Witch though, Nic Cage!!

I like Nic Cage and will give anything he's in a chance. Thats not to say he hasn't made some rubbish.

I enjoyed Pompeii.

It was big and dumb and hugely enjoyable. It could have been a case of right film, right time of course, but i still liked it.

Although Pompeii and Season of the Witch are rubbish, they aren't boring rubbish, so £1.50 isn't spending over the odds for them!
