There is a German dvd on Amazon.de. It's not cheap, €69,99!

Thank you very much not cheap but in this case money is not an issue.

She has that saved to her YouTube but like us all here a physical copy of a film she loves would be amazing for her.

madman from Arrow arrived and finally videodrome.

I ordered videodrome from amazon on monday just before it went oop. The co*k otter oops sorry courier didn't deliver it yet claimed he did. But of course this is amazon logistics so everything is a 30/70 gamble against your favour.

After 3 days of annoyed insistences to amazon that I wanted the item NOT a refund and that they WILL NOT get more stock. They finally solved it in an unorthodox way. They told me to order one off a scalper on marketplace and they would pay the full £66!! I did so. It has now arrived and as promised they have indeed refunded my credit card the £66 I had to give the scalper.

I told them I have been using them since day one and ordered thousands of items & it's only this year since Amazon Logistics replaced Royal Mail there has been constant issues & 4 items have gone "walkies" I told them If they want me to order from them ever again they need to say toodle pip to their cheap labour who DON'T deliver literally!

HMV in Manchester had a sign offering La Grande Bouffe on the 2 for £25. Got it with girl walks home alone... thankfully even though it was a mistake they honoured it.

(legally they don't actually have to, in spite of what most people believe about consumer law)

Went into Fopp and it seems they have cut a deal with 101 films. Blu's are a fiver and dvd's £3. Plus you get a free poster of your choice so I got an Island of Dr. Moreau one chucked in. Result.

(manchester branch seems to have sold out of Split second but I already have that, they also had Island as well as Phantom of the opera and the Van Damme stuff)

Satans Blood & The Last Round. I don't know what the name is in Italian but Last Round is the english name. It's a Noshame release- has boxer Carlos Monzon which I didn't know. I'm a huge boxing fan.

I finally managed to get the Noshame dvd of Giovannona Long-Thigh from Ebay but even though it was new and sealed it has some water damage on the sleeve and booklet but the dvd plays fine. I only paid £2.55 plus shipping so it will do until i find a reasonably priced mint copy.

The Man Who Would Be King and Duel were 50p each from Cash Generators.

It follows and House at the End of Time were bought from Sainsburys as have extra staff discount at the moment.

Eskimo Nell was purchased last week from 88 films as was on special offer.

I first saw it years ago on DVD with my missus who found it depressing and she hated the ending. I thought it was brilliant and loved the ending! I had it and let a friend borrow it and promptly forgot about it for yonks, when I remembered and asked for it back my "friend" insisted he had given it back to me..... Never lend out your films!

Children of the corn (in anticipation of 88's 1-3 release) was £3.88, and is still up at that price. Protector 2 (aka warrior king 2) was £6.51 from ALLYOURMUSIC but looks sold out.

monkeypedro 24th August 2015 05:51 PM

Been checking weekly for the Protector 2 to come below £10 on blu-ray and even though i missed out on the standard blu-ray release i managed to order the 3d version from All for music as only £7.50 which is the cheapest i have seen it.

Now only 1 copy left.

I've been looking forward to this release for some time. I love this film but the last copy I had was taped from Channel 4 and is long gone. Unfortunately I'm too excited to decide when to watch it!

I had a £30 CEX voucher burning a hole in my wallet so I splashed out and got...

http://images2.static-bluray.com/mov...0648_large.jpg

I used to have these on VHS, remember the the Buffy box sets that came out in 2 box sets per season and each box had 3 VHS cartridges in them  it took up a LOT of space in my bed room and I haven't replaced them since. I had a full re-watch last year on Netflix and now I have got the full set and can't wait to watch with the commentaries!

I supported the kickstarter for Final Score and am happy the dvd finally got released (after some troubles) and I got sent one. Seems Camera Obscura also got involved along the way. If you're into 80's action this should tickle your fancy. ;)
