This weeks purchases.

Watching it now, and one of the first people in the film is Rab Affleck, who was in The Big Man, with Liam Neeson, Layer Cake, Gangs Of New York, etc. I only mention this because he lives about 3 minutes from my house.

A little like the recently released The Play Girls and the Vampire (Nucleus) it's one i consider really dull.

However if you like it that's all that matters. :nod:

I'm a bit of a sucker (no pun intended!) for this type of Euro-Vampire fare, so I'm sure I'll enjoy revisiting this one.

(I also quite like Playgirls by the way - rated 62 :tongue1:)

I bought the Euroshock release a few months back and despite watching it twice found it really dull. It's watchable just boring.

I won't get rid of it though being Gothic horror.

Yes mate, but they are all printed in German on the packaging. I can make out alternative ending and gag reel...........the rest is all foreign to me. :lol:

My poundland rarely has blus. Did find The Kings Speech yesterday though and they had a few copies of MIB3.

They had quite a few including 'Welcome to the Punch', 'Woman in Black' and the 'Total Recall' remake. First time in a while I've seen anything worth picking up in there though....

For a quid I'd have picked up the Total Recall remake. Got the other two.

Not Watched Welcome To The Punch yet. Woman in Black is excellent, sequel is rubbish though.

I got Avengers Assemble for £6.00 from CEX yesterday and it turned out to be the 3D/2D double pack in the case for the standard 2D version so I have ended up with my first 3D film for if I ever buy a 3D TV set (probably not going to happen) :lol: I also got Romero's Diary of the Dead for £1.50 on BD, I've only seen it once but I think I enjoyed it, I'll give it a watch at some point in the next few weeks.

I really need to buy the Avengers films because I've only seen them at the cinema and enjoyed both a great deal.

It's been a long time since I last saw Diary of the Dead (I think I've seen it three times, with the first being on my birthday at the cinema) and really rated it – I think it's as good as Land of the Dead with as much social commentary and an interesting construct.
