Happy, Happy Birthday Keirarts!!!
Went in BestBuy yesterday and gave them Jingle all the way on DVD and got 5 bucks off the Criterion Blu of Blow Out! Wish I had more crappy films to exchange for great films.

Great spot, keirarts - thanks! It's the same price at Play.com and HMV.com, so I ordered it from there for the Pure Points and Quidco cashback.

What films have you purchased recently,or are going to purchase?

Kevin Smith's RED STATE (if no extras on R2 I'll buy R1) and TOO FAT FOR FORTY

I think all the smodcasts on Red State are on blu ray only. The dvd should have making of, sundance speech, interview with Michael Parks, deleted scenes and trailers. This is according to myreviewer.com so don't know how reliable it is.

Not a great week for genre releases yet again,so I bought these .......

I watched Final Destination 5 yesterday and found it rather entertaining, hence the reason part 4 (A fiver in HMV).

I also watched TROLL HUNTER yesterday and found it slyly amusing.
Recommended.

Columbiana-better than the Transporter films as you actually get to care about the characters......

But the best was saved till last yesterday with FRIGHT NIGHT in hi def.
It looked superb and with the exception of some of the clothes styles, hasn't dated at all,and along with Return of the Living Dead, remains one of the best flicks from the eighties!

If you don't mind me asking, how much was that?

Happy belated birthday, keirarts. Hope you had a good day.

Black Dynamite arrived yesterday, a film I thought was hilarious when I rented it and one I'm really looking forward to watching again.
