Will give it a pass then that money's better spent on the back to the future 4K limited edition set.

I'm considering buying a 4k Player so that I can get the Back to the Future set  I'll probably just buy the films on iTunes though it'll be much cheaper :D

Pre-ordered Paramount's The Two Jakes blu-ray from wow hd. It's currently less than 8 pounds which is a great price for a brand new American bd being delivered to a UK address. 15th of September is the release date.

Am crossing my fingers that it's region b friendly (it should be). Normally I'd wait for region code confirmation but at that price, I don't mind taking the risk (if it turns out to be locked to region a, I'll just gift it to the chap who was best man at my wedding). :)

Now that's what I call a night in! (I'd go for rum, though, possibly Flor de Caña 12yo)

Demoncrat 2nd September 2020 09:41 PM

Something musical this time.

Neil Young At Red Rocks and a Queens Of The Stone Age thing that didn't have the cd with it hahaha ahem. It's a live thing certainly, so I can only imagine it's part of something of a "limited" release?
The stock we have gotten is been about right in what I predicted as I had the large box Man From Snowy River in my hands today (not the only VHS I've seen AHEM) so people have really outdone themselves wid da cleanin' and shit. Nothing pre cert so calm TF down haha.

I like hearing Young play live. He goes for it. This I like. My 4th favourite guitarist (rock).

Bought this original artwork from artist Daniel Nicholls on Facebook. He’s been posting stuff in film group ‘The Video Bunker’. Not sure if he’s posted elsewhere too. It’s really cracking [emoji4] I’m delighted with it.

This photo I’ve taken is really pixelated when I’m looking at it on the post. Is it like that for everyone else too...?

Just picked up Wrong Turn 1-6 for £3.09 on Music Magpie.

I don't care about the first five but to get part six for that price is quite a bargain seeing as it was removed from circulation following a court case never to be released again.

If I remember correctly if it’s to do with the missing person picture on the notice board they eventually just edited it and then released it again. I also don’t care much for the films either, only seen first 2 not that bothered about watching the rest not heard much good about them just bad reviews.

That Twilight Zone set is amazing! Beautiful prints & so many extras you'll need a year off work to go through the lot!

Positive proof that Trebor is trying to create a TV ark and sail off into eternity, Once the icecaps melt n all that.:)

No one else in their right mind would buy Dynasty.
Except your mum.

(note to self, buy a big boat)

I'll probably be really embarrassed if I like it and just tell everyone how awful it is.

Mind I did strangely enjoy Dallas as a kid, never seen dynasty but it's suppose to be Dallas with everything cranked up to 12. The 80s at its worst.

nosferatu42 7th September 2020 09:37 PM

Whatever floats your boat good sir, but at this rate you are definitely gonna need a bigger one.:pop2:

I'd have bought it for that price.

Dynasty wasn't as good as Dallas. Speaking of Dallas, i'm currently half way through the fifth season as i type.

Sadly i only have the first five series on dvd. They go for silly money nowadays and the complete series plus movies is £89.99 on Amazon. If they'd reduce it by twenty notes i'd probably buy it.

I was looking at it and was thinking the same thing. £60 I would pick it straight up for 14 season and four tv movies.

The first tv movie was excellent. JR Returns i think it's called. I've actually still got it on vhs.

For me it would be like nine series as i've already got five and four movies and i still think it would be worthwhile.
