The Rum Diary BD (US) arrived today, following the Malcolm X Digibook as one of many I've recently ordered from Planet Axel.

So quite a bit of stuff. I had intended to spend the cash filling the gaps in my epic shameless collection. Glad I didn't now. Got a cease and disist e-mail from amazon as it turns out shameless are trying to get all Region 1 imported versions of torso REMOVED FROM AMAZON :mmph:

I e-mailed them back to point out the reason I was selling my aged dvd of the anchor bay edition was because i'd upgraded to the shameless disc (oh sweet irony.) Nethertheless I just removed all their stuff from my wishlist. I'll only buy shameless stuff second hand from now on, screw em.

You would think Shameless had more important things to do.

Up until reading this Shameless could do no wrong for me, but this leaves a sour taste. :(

Argent Films, who run Shameless, also did the same to Daemonia when he tried to sell his BU edition of DJANGO.

I remember reading about that on here.

I didn't realise Argent ran Shameless. I know they are Arrow though.

indeed, like many collectors when I upgraded to the shameless releases. (and I do believe I was upgrading, torso was a much better print imo than the anchor bay release) I'm often left with a region 1 or older region 2 disc that I need to unload to help me keep space on my shelves. If I cant do this, then simply put i'll be in no great hurry to update to the latest disc.

Perhaps this subject warrents its own thread.

Argent is Shameless parent label but they have nothing to do with Arrow.
