Just received the limited edition Steelbook of A Trip to the Moon. It's still in its shrinkwrap, so I can't comment on the restored picture and sound yet.

The packaging, however, is very nice!

Haven't purchased much recently, due to having surgery and my car dying (bills, bills, bills!) but couldn't pass up Ralph Bakshi's Coonskin for under $10 today! :)

Also did a cheap (in more ways than one) Amazon order of Code Name: Wild Geese, First Action Hero and Delta Force Commando!

A first rate set, really enjoyed all of them when i picked it up last year. I'd never seen Cat's Eyes or Maximum Overdrive before and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were.

I have the first volume already, this one contains Dead man and mystery train (which I already own) and night on earth (which I don't) I'll sell the latter two (going price on amazon about £9 each) which should more than make back the £10.50 I paid with postage for this. Quids in!

Never heard of this but it got a good review in the latest Shindig magazine.

I used to have the German editions of CN:WG and DELTA FORCE COMMANDO and I thought CN:WG was great fun and has a superb cult cast. DFC, however, is pretty boring and the leading actor (Brett Clark) is just awful. Only good thing about it is that it also stars Fred Williamson.

Not seen FIRST ACTION HERO.
