Alas I had to go and see it in order to keep the romantic life in one piece (or not...giggidy giggidy!) and it was one of the three worst films I saw last year, all three of which where so bad in different ways I was actualy insulted.

Normally im wowed by the picture quality on blu rays, but why the picture quality is amazing on this, whats impressing me even more, is the audio quality!!

The soundtrack sounds absolutely amazing, same with the Dialouge. Truly fantastic!!

My steelbook arrived on Saturday, got it lined up to watch tonight. I held off buying the first UK BD because of the incorrect aspect ratiio, but I couldn't resist the steelbook.

Nope. It still got the desired response of pissing me off though, why should I care? Cos' I hate it when a movie has no effert put into it, and yet it develops a loyal fan base and earns 10's of millions when passion projects that achieve critical acclaim like Dredd and Frankenweenie struggle to break even. Is this the state of the industry these days? Because if it is, it just make's me sad beyond words.

Wings, Cavalcade, Tom Jones. I have 'copies' but much prefer the real McCoy!

Do you know where Sunrise Wings is available to buy? It's the only one of the Oscar winners I don't have (or have ordered all will buy).

Doesn't matter. I just realised the film is actually called Wings and I bought the US Blu-ray from all your music at eBay for £15.28.
