I've owned every US release of this on DVD. (never got round to getting the AWE release as it essentially was the Dark sky release) The Blu-ray looks phneomenal. My only grumble is that it didnt include the shorter theatrical cut.

I'm in two minds what to buy its either

Suspiria blu ray
Day of the dead blu ray
Dracula blu ray hammer 1958
Phenomena blu ray

Or
Star Trek: Stardate Collection - The Movies 1-10 Remastered Blu-ray 1979 Region Free: Amazon.co.uk: William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, Persis
Which is better value and the cheapest around, but it might go cheaper and the others choices might be harder to get later down the line.

Cheers for any help!:)

As I think WRATH OF KHAN is the only real classic Star Trek movie (not counting the JJ abrahms versions) I'd go for the top bunch, Dracula is the best its ever looked, Phenomena is masdsively underrated imo, Some people didn't like the Suspiria Blu but I thought it looked great and DAwn of the Dead (I take it your talking about the origional) well nuff said on that point really, its a brilliant film that never gets boring... ever.

Being a big Star Trek fan ( yes even been to conventions) going with my first group. Had Dracula and it was amazing(till it was stolen) had reordered it but order never got dispatched so canceled it, only seen suspiria once and loved it can see the blu being a huge improvement on the DVD and I actually liked day of the dead more than dawn . I really can't see these coming down in price anymore and there is the chance Star Trek will or a better box set might come along. Thanks for the help, one of those people who can't make a decision.

I'd go with the horror selection 10 times out of 10! They are all really good films with excellent Blu-ray releases.

You've picked four great horrors Trebor, especially Dracula and Suspiria.

Just one of those two would have won it for me over a Star Trek box set.

I do own the Trek films by the way.

Bought them but sadly day of the dead has now sold out at the price i saw it at, so will pay the extra few penny's and get it direct from arrow instead of waiting 6-11 days. Think I shall also pick up dressed to kill from arrow as they are sending them out earlier. So with all of these and the man who cheated death/ the skull today has been a expensive day
