You see the pic of Tom Baker on the cover of Robot Paul?

That'll be how you look when you see the "tank" attack the giant robot.

Great carboot haul today...

DVD
Salem's Lot - Glad to finally add this to my small King collection.
2001 Maniacs - The Robert Englund version, I remember renting this when it came out and loving it!
The Corridor - Description is interesting, and there's been some great low budget horrors from Canada in recent years.
The Marseilles Connection - Castellari and Nero, what more needs to be said?

VHS
The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat - Channel 5 sell thru.
Heavy Metal - These are all sell thru releases, but couldn't pass up that classic art work on a VHS case!
Suspiria - EIV release, can't pass up a horror classic.
The Brothers Quay Volume 1 - and you certainly can't pass up some classic surrealism.
Weird Cartoons - US Rhino release of some nutty old animation, proudly boasting the "Bambi meets Godzilla" short.
The Experimental Avant Garde Series 11 - the bloke selling these tapes recommended I walk away with this as well and I'm glad I did! 4 short films, including David Lynch's "Alphabet"

I take it Jack's Back was the 2012 widescreen re-release? I ordered it yesterday to replace the earlier fullscreen dvd I have.

Edit

Well that now depends on what's happened to my order, not ordering till I find out what's going on

And the postman came with...

House of Voices - keen to give this a shot.

The Beast in Space - another gap in the shameless collection plugged, can't wait to experience this one!

Jaws - one I always intended to upgrade to blu ray, and this digibook is a real beauty!

Paul@TheOverlook 13th July 2013 09:25 AM

House of Voices is okay, the director's follow up, Martyrs, is imo far superior.

I just love Martyrs! Which is why I'm keen to check this one out. Heard a mixture of views on this one, but I'm sure it won't be a waste of time!

How did people receive there order from arrow sale for more than one item, just got back from work and all there is was a letter, no card saying they had tried to deliver, so did people get there's by Royal Mail or was it a courier, a bit concerned my order has not turned up yet which I ordered Wednesday morning.
