Picked up The Reptile and The Mummy's Shroud from CEX. Had a quick look through The Reptile and it looks like a substantial upgrade from the Hammer box set. :)

Just went to the chemists to get me drugs, man! I take so many tablets that I rattle when I walk! I called in "The Rowan's Hospice" charity shop and found:

"The Producers" Special Edition 1968 for £3

And:
"The Hammer House of Horror" 1980 for £4

Both in very good condition. Who's a 'appy troggi then?

I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again-I really need to start looking in the many charity shops in Halifax, bound to find at least one bargain!

Had lots of trouble getting the free ones to work, also had trouble getting some of the trials of the paid ones to work. ;)

Arcsoft's total media thingy and Windvd seem to work fine though, haven't tried Powerdvd yet.

Currently have the Windvd 30 day trial (my laptop seems to originally have come supplied with Windvd btw) installed and it seems to work fine,so now I can finally watch region A bd's but I don't own any (yet)... :woot:

Btw this arrived.

Absolutely love 'Hammer house of horror', used to watch these on TV as a kid, my favourite episodes are 'The silent scream' (love Peter Cushing) and 'The two faces of evil' (which always used to scare the crap out of me when i saw it). :)
Producers is very funny too.:pop2:

Picked this up from a charity shop for £2.50, was cheap because was missing a disc, the film missing is 'The Hellfire club' but i'm not really worried because this is the film i was least interested in (saw it on TV years ago but didn't like it much).
No extras and 'Flesh and the fiends' is 4:3, but still looking forward to watching this because it's also got Donald Pleasance in (who i think is great).
Also has 'And now the screaming starts' which i have seen and although it's no classic i have fond memories of it from late night TV years ago.
Then finally 'Asylum' which is a great Portmanteau film that i haven't seen for ages. (although 'From beyond the grave' is still my favourite):pop2:
