So, my Godzilla box sets are all here, and it's a bit of a bittersweet feeling seeing all 4 of them together.
Millennium series.. C-C-C-Combo breaker!

Also the 6 discs icon on Showa Classics Volume 2 bugs me

Been a few years since ive seen but found it just as a good watch now as it was then . even tho it grim and bleak.
Just a curious point even if its only trival the disc has the theatrical release with few bits missing here and there like the first tine he see the milk in the fridge the drinking of its missing. And ending been reasonable trimmed and tonned down.

So American Nightmare is classed a uncut so why has first 2 3 min of the war scenes and helicopters etc missing ? they are in Combat shock . plus another scene cant remember has a mere sec r two missing. I always thought uncut meant everything in no scenes missing etc etc so if any scene missing irrelivant to how tiny or trivial then surely its not uncut.

It's not a case of cut/uncut. American nightmare is an alternate edit. An earlier cut. Combat shock is the re-cut version for troma.

reason why i said it is because it states uncut and when you decide which version to watch there a brief writting saying this is the original 16mm film in its full entirety untouched..if that was the case then the beggining would be there.

Some great stuff there, Gold.

I also have a fair few discs on pre-order, to the extent it's hard keeping track at times - especially when release dates keep being amended!

It's a Zavvi exclusive which (I think) has sold out. They do sometimes become available again nearer to the release date though, as people cancel pre-orders etc. and free up the stock.

demonknight 11th June 2014 02:34 PM

One delivery today. Sam Raimi's Darkman on Blu steelbook from Amazon in Germany :)
