I haven't seen it yet. You'd think with that title, they'd have a returning character from the Anaconda series though, seems just Yancy Butler & Robert Englund from the Lake Placid films in it.

John Rhys Davies was the only 'name' in the last Anaconda film and he was killed off. From the plot synopsis it sounds like his character's daughter's in it. David Hasselhoff from the third film must have been busy.

zombie mag

watched Peter Weir's the plumber after reading a blog saying it was a lost masterpiece of thriller cinema but it felt more like a duff episode of tales of the unexpected stretched out to 70 odd mins. NOTLD doc birth of the dead was an easy watch but felt more like a dvd extra than a stand alone release, some feature length making ofs included on discs such as evil dead 2 and street trash are much better . Bought a new mag called ZOMBIE! it's about rustic art practices in Bulgaria. No it's obvs about the undead it's a mixed bag. The cover is a glow in the dark version of an old Oliver Frey cover for zzap magazine and there is a interview with him inside. The mag itself is large and full colour but there doe'snt seem to be much content for the six quid cover price, also the variety of contents is odd , a lot of it seems to be aimed at a teenage newcomer to zombie films but a few articles seem to be based at an older crowd. I thought it was a one off special but apparently more to come.

Wow. It was hard trying to get a good boxed figure of Rey. My first attempt ended in failure as a figure advertised on ebay came through with a battered box. I sent it back but the seller could not understand why as it was new ! Lots of ebay sellers are marking figures as new, but looking at photos the box is damaged of scuffed in some way. Because the seller has not taken the figure out of the box they sell it as new with no regard for box condition.
You learn from your mistakes and after ages spent looking at seller photos I had to send to the U.S for a figure. It came today. No problems.
The real kicker is that when the figures were first released here in the UK, I had a Rey figure in my hand but put it back as I had already picked two figures out.
All's well that ends well.

I'm interested to know what Sex, Demons and Death is like in terms of picture and sound quality.
