Great times they were. Conventions, merchandise. I miss those days real bad as I had such fun back then.

Popped into HMV to have a look, picked up the Kurosawa collection, it had a £25 sticker on it which I knew was a bargain because I was looking the other week and it was £42 on Amazon and £49.99 on HMV - the guy told me it had an out of date sticker on it, but he still sold it to me, like he told me AFTER I'd paid for it like I care :lol: Inland Empire on Dem's recommendation from MM, arrived fast, I think it was Sunday when it was mentioned???

My sentiments exactly. I kind of grew out of conventions after Heroes hit big & there was a convention every other weekend, but when the LOTR cast & Buffy cast, etc were attending, they were GLORY DAYS. Many fond memories!

Back on topic, I got the Forgotten Gialli collection, WOW!!!
Buy it now people, it is class!

Way i see it Dem the longer you wait, the more titles need upgrading. When dvd first got a hold i stopped buying vhs altogether even though I couldn't afford a dvd player. Couldn't bear to buy any more tapes knowing I'd only be buying the films again.

I like it but it could do with being more violent and sexy. Basically it could do with being Spartacus.

I bought the complete series late last year and rewatched the first one (i already owned series 1,2 & 3 but it was cheaper to get the complete series than buy the remaining ones individually) and it varied from very good to a bit rubbish if i'm honest.

It does improve though.
