1 Attachment(s) These arrived, but I'm still waiting for my 'Killing Zoe' blu. Starting to get a bit concerned about it. |
Ordered Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 - 3 disc limited edition from Zaavi for £9.99. Also spent a few quid on amazon since they have some excellent deals during there black Friday week - The incredible hulk complete series 1-5 for £21.99, Star Wars complete saga boxset on blu for £33.99,Arrow series 1-2 on blu for £30.99 and The world at war blu collection for a decent £18.75. Been waiting for these to go down in price for ages, hope I don't spend as much tomorrow. |
Picked up a second hand copy of Never Sleep Again the other day for $5 AUD (£2.71). This pleases me. |
Two deliveries yesterday. Shock Waves from BU, and GHOSTBUSTERS from Sony Pictures. Both on the Blu format. |

Showed that my 11 year old last night, he says I HAVE to buy it for my collection, he's got a point  |
Finally picked up Trancers from HMV. Got Spione too, been watching Lang's movies again all week so why not. Hype for that new Metropolis steelbook! |
http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...pse0237187.jpg http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3d24ece2.jpg Not a lot this week, and I expect nothing next week, unless the Criterion Designs book arrives. I shall be watching To All A Goodnight on Christmas Eve this year. Perhaps I'll pair it with Frozen? ;) Warner Archive and Kino are killing it at the moment. I hear Warner Archive will be putting out some Hammer, and Bette Davis next year. |

2 Attachment(s) Picked a couple up on the way home, Bond BD was £4.99 at 2nd hand shop, Cars that ate Paris was £1.50 from CEX. |
The Cars that Ate Paris is a great film - hope you enjoy it plato! |
Picked up Doc of the Dead on German blu-ray while I was killing time in town waiting to go to the pictures. |
"Trailer Park of Terror" (2008) Picked up for one squid in Sue Ryder charidee shop. Still got t' mini comic included which, to be honest, is what I bought it for. I'll give it a whirl when I'm in t' mood f' some schlock and cheese. Off t' quack's now and then t' t' best comic shop on the south coast, Room 237, via a gamut of charidee shops in Southsea so 'ere's 'opin'. |
This morning, I ordered these BDs From Zavvi: inside Llewyn Davis steelbook (oddly cheaper than the standard release, at £9.99) Oculus Rush (£4.99) American Pie collection (the first three and Reunion) Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2 (only £4.99) I also ordered Despicable Me because, for some reason, I only own the sequel, for £5 at Amazon. |
Picked up Arrow's Steel of Pit & The Pendulum, for £9.99 in the Zavvi Black Friday Sale as It's the first time I have ever seen it anywhere for a sensible price. I am chuffed to have the last steelbook I needed (to date) at last. Black Friday browsing is far from done though! |
Received two packages today. The Descent from Lionsgate and Dark Star from VCI Entertainment, both on Blu. |
