Absolutely brilliant, both of them.

I think Rome is the best as its a bit more realistic and filmed at Cinecitta in Rome. Spartacus has a lot of CGI but i was used to it by half way through the first episode. Spartacus runs with blood, and has plenty of sex / nudity, as does Rome actually.

Get them both if you can BOF, if just one, then Rome, unless you have a hankering to see Lucy Lawless naked. A lot.

I did'nt realise Andy Whitfield who played Spatacus had died last year

Yeah!

They made Spartacus Gods of the Arena (a prequel) whilst they looked for another actor.

A shame as he was really good in it.
