My copies of Tetsuo/Tetsuo 2, Who Dares Wins and Wild Geese have all arrived (finally). The too watch pile is now completely out of control so I have cancelled a number of my preorders

In case you hadn't guessed by my username, Murnau's Nosferatu is one of my favourite films as well – an absolute masterpiece of storytelling with amazing direction and cinematography.

It's been far too long since I saw Herzog's remake, which I thought was really interesting, with an outstanding performance by Klaus Kinski who, whilst not having the same screen presence as Max Schreck in the 1922 film, is still extremely good as the vampire count.

Thinking about it, I probably haven't rewatched this in over 10 years

I should dig it out and give it another spin. Wonder why the director never did anything else (that I'm aware of) . . .

It's not a great movie, but I really like it due to the fascinating concept and the excellent performances. It's another film I haven't seen as recently as I should.

Just a few things arrived today/yesterday. I feel like I'm due a lot more though as I'm skint until the end of the month. I think I have quite a few things pre-ordered which is disorientating me.

oh I almost forgot, these came the other day and a couple of Columbo DVDs.

I loved Shadow of the Vampire . Willem Defoe is very funny/creepy in it.
