Yep, the BD is in a regular case, the 2DVD in a digi. Will buy it soon too.

My blade runner digibook arrived today, looking forward to getting stuck into that. Killer Jo BD will have to wait as I'm not exactly drowning in cash. :-(

My replacement Hitchcock: Masterpiece set arrived today, thankfully scratch free, and should provide some excellent viewing. I just hope the picture quality on certain films isn't as bad as I've been led to believe.

Ugh. One of those releases that really doesn't suit that standard blue plastic the digipack is much cooler looking . . .

What i'm really interested in, is the uk release of Santa sangre any better than the severin release? If so i'll upgrade, if its the same then i'll stick with the one I have.

Either way anyone who dosent own the film should seek it out. Now theres no excuse not to see it!

Yeah. The in depth review in the current Sight and Sound put me right off this. I wonder if these bumper collections of restored films are a good idea? You can imagine each individual title getting far less attention than if released seperately (then again, not like that's working out for Hammer!) . . .

A poster on AV Maniacs has checked a few scenes and says that it looks good - it has better colours than the Severin and the milkiness is gone.
