Hey Marc... Haven't seen The Devil Inside and Adam Chaplin and I haven't seen Novecento in 10 years but I remember this one as good but nowhere near as good as say The Conformist or Last Tango In Paris. This is a long film and watching Robert De Niro looped in Italian is a strange experience. Donald Sutherland is totally over the top in the film, I mean crazed ! Well worth watching but no masterpiece...
