Just bought these from the local Air Ambulance shop for a combined total of £3.

The Alien blu set which looks far worse in the photo than it does in the hand was £2. The lady gave me The Ghost and the Darkness which is region one because i helped her go through some new in dvds sorting out which were copies and which weren't. To her going through dvds is hard work, to me it's fun. Never seen Arrested Development but three series for a quid was worth a go.

Not seen this for years, and keep meaning to, Demdike watched it the other night and I went on Amazon and bought the bluray. I have since found that apparantly the sound isn't brilliant, going to watch it in about 45 minutes anyway

I hope the sound is okay seeing as it's a great metal soundtrack. My dvd which is nothing special picture wise has a very good sound.

Have you seen In a Lonely Place before, Nos?

No two ways about it. It's a stone cold classic!

Glory is also approaching a five star film as well.

I think I've seen both films before – I've definitely seen Glory, which I thought was very powerful – but, even though the plot seems familiar, I don't know when or how I would have seen In a Lonely Place.
