I forgot this. My dvd from Carlton somehow got itself scratched in between viewings. When i wanted to watch it the other night it kept sticking so i had to replace it. This has far superior cover art.

I can't wait. I'd watch it tonight but. Well, obvious reasons really it won't get seen for a couple of weeks.

I had/have it on US dvd and the picture is crap. I've always had to change the aspect ratio to an odd letterbox for a start.

I've been wanting to upgrade my DVD to the Blu-ray for the last five years or so but haven't prioritised enough to buy it yet. I hope to remedy that in the next fortnight in time for the D-Day anniversary.

As much as I love 'The Evil Dead', I'm staying away from the Blu-Ray and sticking to the DVD when I watch it

As I said in my review of the film for last years Halloween movie viewings:

Mind you, the picture is so clear, it does tend to show up the short-comings in the prosthetic make-up effects. The film is still as sensationally scary and the gore is as unmatched as it was back in the day on VHS. A true horror classic
It's like listening to Venom or Bathory on scratched and Low-Def vinyl and then listening on them pristine Hi-Def CD

Some things are meant to be rough and ready!

I was wondering about getting Snyder's Justice League...

Thing is i can't remember a thing about Whedon's Justice League so... I know it's basically all new... Might just get the dvd for a tenner instead of maybe wasting money on a blu-ray.
