A bona fide masterpiece, a fine addition to your collection.

I need to get on top of writing some reviews. I seem to come and go. At the moment I'm struggling.
I just finished watching Paths of Glory though and yes it's an absolutely stunning piece of cinema. I have to admit it's probably the best Kubrick film I've seen. And that's from someone who adores The Shining.

Picked these up from some Christmas vouchers and money I had left over.

Arrived today from Music Magpie via Amazon. Stallone's Cobra. Been after this one for a while, seems to be out of OOP these days. Unless you buy the five film Sly boxset. 20240105_161036.jpg

The five film set is very good. Well worth the tenner it cost me from Amazon a couple of years ago.

I watched Cobra right away but only ended up seeing Demolition Man and Assassins for the first time on Blu in mid December just gone.

Love Cobra love the soundtrack but the film always feels like it's about 45 minutes long don't know why just always seems to fly by.

It's been a conundrum for a while. I'm not keen on Assassins, found it really boring the one and (I think) only time I watched it, when it first came out. The Specialist I've seen a few times, but I only ever felt was average. Which leaves three classics all with decent artwork in their individual release form. I've been wanting Cobra for a while, one of my favourite Stallone films. I'll get T&C and Demolition Man in due course
