Congratulations (or should that be commiserations?!) for dipping the proverbial toe into HD waters. It can become an expensive and time-consuming pursuit this collecting hobby.

The Fearless Vampire Killers has received a Blu release in France, however the quality is supposed to be far from great. I too would love to see some of the Lewton classics hit the Blu format - particularly I Walked With a Zombie and The Seventh Victim.

The right step to take.

Despite all the technical bickering on here over picture quality on BD discs, movies have never looked and sounded so good.

An absolute classic that deserves the Blu Ray treatment is Saul Bass' Phase IV, I pray daily that this will happen! The once-thought lost ending resurfaced a couple of years ago and the soundtrack has had an official release recently, so I always hold out hope. It could be a perfect BD package, particularly with his short films including the amazing Quest!

What Have You Done To Solange?

Surely a title for either Arrow or 88 films to pick up?

I would love to see the 'House' movies in a BD set.

If anyone wants to pick up a decent copy of The Mutations on dvd at a reasonable price then the grey market release from Desert Island Classics is the way to go.

I can vouch for it as i bought it myself a while ago. It's a direct port off the original Subversive release and even has a commentary track.
