I'll just put it out there now, I don't rate Frankenstein The Hammer version is so much better.

Mm interesting. While Curse of Frankenstein is excellent i actually think some of the sequels are better. Quite unlike Dracula where they never matched the quality of the original. Universals Frankenstein is brilliant and a lot better than the overrated Bride of.

YOU TAKE THAT BACK!

Honestly haven't seen Near Dark yet but Lost Boys is fantastic.

Also seems like I disappeared at just the wrong time, come back and everyone is on J about a point that I brought up!

The Lost Boys is brilliant.
Near Dark is brilliant.
But to compare them is like trying to compare The Goonies with Raiders of the Lost Ark. Doesn't make sense to me.

My point was that one (Lost Boys) is essentially a kids/teen movie and Near Dark is a serious adult vampire film. Goonies and Raiders was the best example i could come up with. Even if Goonies is the cinematic equivalent of a bucket of monkey spunk.

It wouldn't be so bad if the bride was actually in it for more than five minutes.

Whilst i do like Bride of Frankenstein i don't see it as the untouchable classic others do.
