There are only 8 films which feature the monster. Besides i couldn't watch the A&C one as i got rid of the box set - dreadful. Not funny in the slightest.

I never bought any Abbott and Costello films, but the ones I saw only featured a couple of moments which I found amusing and definitely not something I found funny enough to warrant a purchase.

Abbott and Costello are an acquired taste, there's no doubt about that.

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein does have many hilarious moments, though. Brilliant comedy.

I like some of their stuff, particularly the very famous Who's on First routine.

I do remember Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein as the most enjoyable of the films I saw.

It's Andy Milligan... so, depending on your taste then that could be a good thing.

Top 11 Frankenstein Films*

* I had to include 11+1 films. For some reason or other, this list was much harder to compile than the Werewolf one.
Personal favourites are marked with a thumbs up.

- in chronological order -

Frankenstein (1931)
Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
Son of Frankenstein (1939)
The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942)
Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)
Frankenstein Created Woman (1967)
The Horror of Frankenstein (1970)
Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974)
Young Frankenstein (1974)
Frankenstein Unbound (1990)
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994)

Honourable mention for outlandishness and for being utterly silly:
Dracula vs. Frankenstein (1970)
