115 credits on IMDb not all of them big roles i have skipped a few that he was not officially credited for it just seemed pointless to review something he just popped his head into shot for a few seconds.

Vampires, eh?

Must admit that I am not really a fan of the genre. I don't get the gothick romance concept. Horror films should be scary, and not have the monster lusting after the girl (or guy - yes I have seen those vampire films as well!)

So, what have I come up with?

1 - Vampire Circus. Yes, it's one of the later Hammer films, but it comes up with new ideas, and it features the gorgeous Lalla Ward
2 - From Dusk Till Dawn. Most people don't like this film, but it's the only Tarantino film I truly like. Violent, scary and funny. A real classic
3 - Innocent Blood. John Landis' highly enjoyable vampire comedy. And in what other film could you see Anne Parillaud, Robert Loggia, Anthony LaPaglia, Don Rickles, Linnea Quigley, Frank Oz, Tom Savini, Sam Raimi and Dario Argento? I have the original cinema poster, all ready to go up on the wall when I find somewhere to live!
4 - Mr. Vampire. Hilarious Hong Kong film that introduced the West to the myth of the Eastern hopping vampire
5 - Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Episode 'School Hard'. Episode 3 of the second series of 'Buffy'. I'm sure there are better episodes, but this is the one that introduced Spike, who became my favourite character in the show
6 - Fright Night (1985). The original version. Like most of the other films on my list, this successfully mixes horror and laughs
7 - The ABCs Of Death: Segment 'U For Unearthed'. 'Blair Witch' style handheld camera short showing the point-of-view of a vampire as it is chased staked by an angry mob. Highly effective
8 - Nosferatu (1922). A masterpiece of German expressionistic cinema. The original 'Dracula' film, although the character is renamed Count Orlok! Note how the vampire leaves a shadow on the wall - something that Hollywood (and beyond) chose to ignore. Very much ahead of it's time, it also wrote much of the modern day myth of the vampire - it was the first time that the suggestion that sunlight is fatal to a vampire was made - in Bram Stoker's novel, the character was seen walking around during the daytime. Also, Max Schreck has to be the ugliest vampire ever committed to celluloid. But was the actor a real vampire???
9 - Dracula (1958). Hammers original Dracula film. Again, it re-wrote Stoker's novel, but it's influence cannot be under estimated
10 - Razor Blade Smile. Hey - it's my curve-ball entry!

Good girl, Lalla ward n all that, nice. thats why i rate circus to be honest.
If it's good enufff for Tom Baker n all.
Also nice one for Razor blade smile, i like it a lot, nothing to do with Eileen Dailey and her dubious past, honest guv'nor.
