One or two Rules

Nothing to do with the sea.

Nothing to do with monsters or dinosaurs or King Kong or ape planets.

Deja vu! (sort of)

One of the rules is "Nothing to do with the sea." Sorry, kierarts, but you can't have Jaws.

You can if you want. Although this Top 10 isn't killer animals.

We Bought a Zoo
One of those rarities that we both enjoyed.

This has been really tough, so I have had to do two lists.

Animated:
  • Watership Down
  • The Lion King
  • A Bug's Life
  • Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
  • The Jungle Book (1961)
  • Who Framed Roger Rabbit
  • One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961)
  • Ratatouille
  • Lady and the Tramp
  • Dumbo

Live action:
  • The Birds
  • Life of Pi
  • March of the Penguins
  • Best in Show
  • The Thin Man
  • The Witches
  • Kes
  • Bringing Up Baby
  • Au hasard Balthazar
  • The Artist

I hope The Thin Man and The Artist count because they prominently feature a dog but, if not, I'll change them for Laughing Gravy and Grizzly Man.

I don't think I've seen many films about animals that aren't killers!

I think that says more about me than the availability of non-killer animal films though...
