Bizarre some of the stuff that comes up when you Google comedy horror films. Rather open ended (and thus very interesting) topic this week as I'm sure we all have rather differing perceptions of what makes for a comedy horror.

"Well... I attended Juilliard... I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through the Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I've seen the EXORCIST ABOUT A HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN TIMES, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT"

Lets hope it means people will post their top 10's rather than just chip in with random comments.

I was pointing out that one person's serious horror film is another person's comedy

Before I started this list I'd pegged myself as not much of a fan of comedy horror. However, there were a lot of potential candidates I could have listed when I put my mind to it. I probably could have even managed a top 50 if films I consider to be great (albeit some a little unconventional) comedy horror films.

I didn't realise The Cremator was a comedy horror. I won't bother with it now. As a general rule i dislike horror and comedy mixed together.

It's a very dark comedy. And a superb film too - you'd be doing your brain a disservice if you didn't watch it.

Most of my Top 10 shifts more towards the 'dark comedy' end of the spectrum.

Patience old man. Always have to allow room for some pointless bollocks.
